I am 5ft 5in, 125lbs and usually wear small. I bought the middle one. Hoping for consolation. It has an odd shape, I definitely wouldn't downsize it. Shirt was stiff/scratchy and smelled horrible before wash and scratchy even after wash, still uncomfortably scratchy. I'll try washing again. Update: The color fades with every wash.
