Terrible product, doesn't work as advertised

Well this one smells amazing. I understand it's SPF50 so it's a little harder to rub in than anything else. However, I've done A LOT of research into what sunscreen is best for pregnant women, and it's all been mineral-based sunscreens for kids, like this one. And I know I have to go to Florida this time of year and I need SPF 50 (I usually only wear SPF 30) so I planned ahead, I'm no fool when it comes to sun, especially during pregnancy. let me tell you It doesn't work as advertised. We were at the beach for a total of 4 hours, I used it TWICE (according to the instructions - every two hours if you don't go in the water, which I didn't). And I burned to the core! I would never use this on my child, I can't even understand the pain a child/toddler/baby feels after using it. My hand is OPEL. I've never burned my hands on the beach, but after 24 hours I can't wear my wedding rings and my hand is twice the normal size. And my face is also a little swollen and my neck, chest, arms and legs are burned and in terrible pain.

Pros
  • Sunscreen and tanning products
Cons
  • New competition has arrived
