I have had many leather belts over the years; but this belt is by far my favorite of them all. As with all leather products, the more you use them, the better they are in terms of flexibility. The buckle is nice and heavy and definitely won't fall apart. The beauty of these straps is that they are adjustable. I recommend getting a longer length if you are unsure of your waist size as these belts are designed so that you can shorten the length by unscrewing the leather piece from the buckle with a screwdriver and cutting it to the length you want .
