When a stray cat showed up at my door, I knew I had to help. She was starving and had a bandage on her paw which cut off blood flow and caused her paw to swell to three times its normal size. When I took her to the vet I found out that she had FIV+, deformed ribs, a missing microchip and a lot of dental problems. They couldn't pinpoint her age, but since she had sensitive gums, I decided to give her this semi-soft adult cat food. and they all seemed to make her vomit. Royal Canin does not. Vomiting stopped almost immediately after receiving this food, and she has been eating it with pleasure for several months now. I feed her this as her main food and sometimes add wet food. Her coat is much healthier, her gums are a little less swollen and she doesn't seem to have the constipation problems she used to have. I don't see us changing products as long as she continues to enjoy it.
