I ordered this dress and several others for a party in 1920. I chose this dress. The fabric has a satin finish but is stretchy. The perfect fabric for a full figure. I was afraid the dress would look cheap but when I opened the package I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It went well with my gloves and hat on. I like the hourglass shape. The best dress for my body type.
