This is a matte FULL COVER finish. I love it. I have complex skin, very oily in one area and very dry and scaly in another. I've been using this as my go-to place for the past 5 years and refer anyone who asks me what to buy. This is also under construction. Works best for me when I put it in an old compressed powder container to give it some air. A little dry for me works really well. I also prefer applying with the Real Techniques Anti-Microbial Miracle Complexion Sponge. I have found that using a face brush leaves streaks and other marks if you also apply with a brush. But overall this is a 5 star full coverage foundation. It's not transparent because that would be pointless, and it's not easy. You may feel like you're wearing makeup, but that's how every full coverage foundation I've ever bought has felt. So for 5 dollars. Buy it! I don't think you will regret it. Just play around with it a little. If it's too thick, applying it with a slightly damp sponge may help. I also go dancing, I was there almost every weekend until my son was born and after working in this foundation I went to the gym. It lasted for me! And I was sweating like crazy
