Review on 🖤 Black Clump Crusher Mascara by Covergirl by Amanda Rochon

This mascara applies like a dream - no clumps! The applicator stick is shaped like a football and is wider in the middle. I usually get at least a tiny smudge when applying other mascaras, but not this time. The brown-black color is gorgeous - not too light but not as harsh as my usual black mascaras (I have light brown hair and eyebrows). The downside is this mascara irritates my eyes making them sting and watery. If you know your eyes are sensitive, DO NOT BUY THIS. I've seen others say it irritates their eyes, but other than flaking, I've never had a mascara that irritated my eyes—until today. As a temporary measure, I applied a layer of old waterproof mascara to cover and seal the clump crusher. Layers to stop the burn. That stopped the irritation for a moment, but now that it's dried my eyes are burning and watering again. The reviews for application, color and wearing comfort were so positive that I took the risk and bought these. Unfortunately I lost. The brush is excellent - I'll probably wash it off and leave it to myself, but I'll have to throw the product away - it won't hurt the makeup.
