First timer. Simple and easy to use

I have wanted to write this review since I started using my Toshiba digital camera a month ago. Ordered online, arrived in no time. I had it out of the box and was shooting faster than you can put film in a 35mm camera. Ease of setup and ease of use are some of the key factors to consider when buying a digital camera and this one is for you. I've spent many hours researching products on the internet and it's reduced to two; One is Sony and the other is Toshiba. I've had it for a month now and I'm still amazed at the performance of the camera. Lightness and ease of use make using the camera a pleasure. The picture quality is outstanding. The software that comes with the camera is also easy to use. Connection is via USB cable, and once the computer is connected 1,2,3. to view or edit photos. The software makes some nice fixes by compensating for the camera itself. In some photos, the camera tends towards the "blue" side of the spectrum. which can be set up in no time (using a computer); as you would expect from your film company. Second, the power source is extremely important for any electronic device. Toshiba's lithium battery is okay; A long life would be nice, but it's a lot better than most. (A second battery would be a wise investment.) The battery charges in the camera in about 5 hours. There is an external charger that I plan to get if I buy a second battery. According to the literature, the loading time is significantly shorter. The third consideration is shutter speed, the time it takes from when you press the shutter button to the time it takes for the camera to actually capture the picture. It's no longer for Toshiba than it is for a 35mm camera (a big plus when subjects aren't always still). Overall I am very happy with the Toshiba PDRM70 and have no hesitation in recommending it to all photography enthusiasts. Happy clicking.
