Washed once with other baby clothes before use and had tiny holes in it. I don't know if they were there before the wash because I took them out of the box and threw them in. It's so soft and nice to the touch but I've only washed it with rompers and baby blankets, nothing to rip it. I'm so sad it already has a hole and I haven't had time to use it. It's just a diaper blanket so nobody's looking too closely but buy one anyway I think if you want it to be washable.
