I bought this product because Revain is obviously popular despite some advertised flaws. The biggest issue seemed to be the lack of a fit that prevented a full seal. Anyway, I decided to use it and I'm really not disappointed. I'm a retired firefighter and was looking for a pair of goggles to use in a wildfire situation. I live in the wilderness and was recently forced to work in a fire zone to help (among other things) with the evacuation of our horse. I didn't have glasses when this happened and I regretted it from the start. Winds of up to 50mph combined with embers and debris made me wish I had goggles, but I didn't. So I decided to buy a set. This set makes a well-made and comfortable impression. A lot of the goggles I've looked at online are designed to work with a helmet, which means the headband might be a bit too big. Maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't want to risk it. Not with these glasses. It can be easily adjusted to the head without a helmet. I was looking for non-vented goggles to keep smoke out. These glasses seemed to fit that description, so I pulled the trigger. In terms of fit, most of my goggles seal very well. This is a plus. However, because these glasses are designed to be worn with glasses, there is a small gap in the temple seal that the glasses can fit through. No adjustments can close this gap. Maybe I'll see if I can fill that gap with silicone, but maybe I won't. If you're in a wildfire situation, the smoke will be bad, but blowing out the debris and ash is the biggest hazard to your eyes. You will surely fill the bill for it. They were bought specifically for campfire work. They haven't tested this yet, but it seems like a very good product for the price. If you are just looking for eye protection for other tasks (chainsaw or other situations where your eyes might be at risk) they are certainly for you. I gave this five stars based on what I was looking for and what was delivered. I may be wrong in the future but I am happy with this purchase from the start.
