I have three small children, the youngest is 17 months, I had 3 or 4 sets of children's tables and chairs. None of them fully met my needs. My kids tend to fall off chairs without arms/sides. These chairs come in a variety of sizes so I can purchase larger sizes for my older children. I bought this little chair for my youngest. He loves this chair and so do I. This chair allows my son to be more independent, he can move the chair around our coffee table and eat by himself, the little ones love to do as much for themselves as possible! The base is wide enough so the chair doesn't tip over too easily when my child easily gets in and out of the chair. My kids use this type of chair in their Montessori classrooms. When I saw them in my classrooms, I knew I wanted a chair like this!
