I bought two of these for me and my wife to use while running. I go very early in the morning before sunrise and she goes at night after it has set so a good bright light was very important so we could be visible to other runners, cyclists and traffic and be able to see our surroundings. . A product works really well when it actually works (more on that later). The quality of workmanship corresponds to the price. The straps fit well, stretch comfortably, and generally don't feel like you're wearing anything extra. The light is definitely bright enough to illuminate well about 20 yards in front of you (18 meters) and then falls off quickly. However, the description of the width of the emitted light is accurate, which is really cool. The reverse light is small but works well. The controls are a bit odd as you can turn on the taillight separately from the main light, but turning off the main light also turns off the taillight. Not critical, but good to know. However, with all this, the one I bought for my wife died after just a few uses. It doesn't charge at all (the display doesn't show anything). So the second one was pretty much useless, so I'm deducting two stars for the unpredictable lifespan of that one. A very useful product, but 50% rejection is not very good.
