bring my lunch on other days. In its smallest zipped position, it's about the same size as other lunch bags, but if you leave it completely loose, it can hold so much. I put in a half gallon of almond milk, a packet of cereal and three other things and it still wasn't quite full. However, the strap could be a little longer. The picture with the device connected shows that it's as full as you can fill it, and yet it's still closed. I also thought I wouldn't like the handle/strap on the back instead of the side, but it actually seems better. When I have a lot of these I use the strap as a crossbody bag and it sits nicely on the hip. The straps are also fairly reliable and durable, at least for now.
