This is the first time I have used pure mineral oil in any of my products. This is a custom sized chopping board to be placed on the stovetop. My woodworking contacts recommended applying several coats of food grade mineral oil before adding beeswax. Now that I've started selling more cutting boards, I've decided to follow her advice. Shown is a 20" x 28" maple/walnut cutting board. The oil absorbed quickly and I was amazed at how it gave the color of the wood. The price is right and the delivery was very fast.
