Excellent halogen replacement - they are dimmable
I've bought many 12V led lights that flickered and were unusable with the existing dimmer or 12V transformer in the fixture. Often you need to replace the transformer, dimmer or both. I was surprised at how well these dim, despite the claim of being non-dimmable. That's an upside, since these are alot brighter than the original halogens. As others report in reviews, old dimmers are often leaky in the off position and the LEDs remain on. I kept one of the halogen bulbs to prevent this.
