My wife has an Ottlite makeup mirror that she uses every day. One of the original fluorescent tubes failed (second time) and I bought these replacement LED bulbs. This requires rewiring the mirror as the fluorescent ballast needs to be removed and the switch wired directly to the LED lights. I am very happy with such projects and I made it in a short time. The new bulbs work great and appear to be the same color temperature as the original bulbs that were in the mirror. We travel the world for reasonable periods of time and I feel that LED bulbs should be more tolerant of external power (with a converter) than fluorescent bulbs. They should also last longer.
