The thing works!
This lock works as described in the instructions. Every year we have an adult party (we call it Sip & Dip) where you can try on faded sundresses, linen shirts and anything that needs a fashion update! Trial and error has been attempted for several years to prevent indigo bleed and/or fading. We tried the vinegar mix but weren't happy with the results. Last year I bought a single bottle. We liked the result and now I only buy 3 packs of fixative. Follow the instructions!
