The base fits my 2019 Mazda CX-5 perfectly. Adding a ball and phone holder was also very easy. Now I'm trying on the phone. Problem. I read the description of how thick the phone should be, 0.7 inches. Well my iPhone 7 has a neoprene case with a credit card and pass card for my HOA club and a hard case. I'm sure it exceeded 0.7 inches. Not one to give up because I really like the look and fitted to the dash without blocking the air vents or navigation screen I decided to probably void the warranty. I carefully used two pairs of pliers to tighten the clamps on the ends of the three levers. If I take my time and try the phone again, it works great. My phone is safe and secure and can use Apple Car Play on my screen. make driving safer. I don't recommend doing anything that will void the warranty, I think the end result justifies it. Like the result.
