I should have known better than to buy $30 headphones and expect any kind of quality. I took them to work thinking 8 hours of playtime would be enough but after only 4 hours of minimum volume they tell me the battery is low. In just 2 months, the playing time was reduced to about 3 hours. The sound profile is complete crap, below a certain decibel level they just don't seem to produce any sound making you wonder if it's still playing. What's more, the voice telling you the state of affairs is piercingly loud, even at the lowest volume settings.
