We received the KidKraft Sling bookcase today and I am very happy with it. It was easy to assemble; Took me about 15 minutes with a screwdriver alone. It is very stable and strong, quite a lot of books fit in it. In the picture I posted we have 27 books and certainly could fit a few more. Thin-spined books work best. It doesn't go with almost all of my kids' books, but I wanted something for the many library books they bring home each week. It also looks good in a small child's room. A few cons. Since you need to put the canvas sling on the dowels before screwing on the bookshelf to wash the canvas, you'll need to take everything apart. In my opinion it doesn't matter as I think spot cleaning will work just fine. There was a sticker on the side of the bookshelf that ripped off some of the veneer when I removed the sticker. It doesn't matter since it's on the inside where it's covered by the canvas, but it does suggest the veneer probably isn't as durable. Overall I think it's a pretty good price and will work well for our needs. .
