This product works properly. As others have said the depth isn't too deep so you need a flat speaker but I ordered and received pre-built 6.5" Fosgate Mo-65b speakers so I decided to use the back of the boxes with hit a heat gun and expand it a bit. It didn't take long and it's not very noticeable on the car. As others have said, the metal braces also need to be trimmed down a bit to reveal the speaker grilles. But overall it sounds and works great with very little effort.
