Review on Glycolic Acid Facial Toner: Renew Aging, Oily, and Dry Skin with Natural Extracts by Advanced Clinicals by Lisa Chavez

I like the smell of this toner and the fact that it comes in a spray bottle. I can spray it on my face and then use a cotton swab or stick to completely tighten and cleanse my face. The scent is light enough that no one but me can detect it. Unfortunately, this tonic uses dyes to give it a purple hue, which I could do without. I also have to be careful with sun exposure because of the glycolic acid. There is a warning on the bottle to avoid sun exposure for two weeks after last use and to always use sunscreen after using toner. As much as I love the scent and skin-friendly ingredients, I dislike the increased sun risk from acid and linalool, or the fact that they add coloring. Full Ingredients List: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Polysorbate 20, Glycolic Acid, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Fruit Extract, Lens Esculenta (Lentil) Fruit Extract, Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract (Cucumber ), Hypnea Musciformis Extract, Glycyrrhiza Uralensis (Licorice Root Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Marigold Extract, Sodium Lactate, Maltodextrin, Flavor, Isopentyldiol, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Benzyl Benzoate, Limonene, Linalool, Blue 1 (CI 42090), Red33 CI 17200. This can be a good winter tonic and I'll keep it on the back burner for cooler, shadier weather when I'm not in the sun much.
