Well built and easy to install but there are 2 issues to note. There is no ledge to hold the mattress in place, so a light or smooth-bottomed mattress can slip, which happened with my full-size mattress. However, my queen size is very heavy, has a soft bottom and stays in place. The second issue is the side legs which are only half an inch in and will kick you to bed - I do this every night! To fix the legs, I wrapped them with bubble wrap. I still kick her, but at least it doesn't hurt. To keep the full size mattress in place I made corner collars that matched the size and shape of the plastic corner protectors found on standard box spring beds. I attached the collars to the holes in the platform bed for the headboard. For 2 cents a manufacturer could include some foam tubing and plastic sleeves and if they did they would get five stars. Anyway, they get three and I get the other two.
