One of my active dogs needs less food but with enough protein and minerals to stay healthy. This food fits. I check [.] his calorie needs and weigh the pieces. This means that he does not gain any additional weight with this high-performance feed. I supplement my dog with good quality vitamin/mineral tablets to make up for the deficiency as he is getting less food. My other dogs also love this food and do very well with Victor Ultra 42. This dry food is part of their diet along with EVO Chicken and EVO Red Meat. I measure food quality by its "yield" and it doesn't disappoint. Small poop is almost odorless.
