I didn't expect better sound or build quality and I'm fine with that. However, Windows driver support is almost non-existent. In Windows 8.1 drivers from the website do not start and the device does not turn on as an audio device. I could manually update the driver in Device Manager to remove the yellow label and show the sample rate on screen, but players like foobar2000 or JRiver can't run the driver, so it's useless on Windows 8.1. I tried it on another Windows 10 laptop. In this case, Windows allocates a generic USB 2.0 audio device driver and adds an audio device so I can at least use the product, but since the included app doesn't work, I can. Don't control certain settings like buffers etc. Ultimately I am very disappointed with the purchase and will not be buying again from these poorly supported brands that sell almost useless products without proper driver support. To be honest I haven't tried any other input jacks, only USB. So if you use it via USB I wouldn't recommend it.
