Review on 🛵 ILM Red White Motorcycle Full Face Modular ATV Helmet - Three in One Casco with Pinlock Anti Fog Visor for Men Women DOT: Product Review by Punk Espinoza

Let me start by saying that I bought this helmet to wear while riding a unicycle. This helmet weighs exactly 4lb 2oz on my bench scale. It's a bit tight out of the box, but that's to be expected from a new, properly sized helmet. It feels like it's starting to break after two weeks of use. This is my first modular helmet and I really like this feature. I also like the tinted drop down visor. I appreciate that it also comes with a second clear visor, which was unexpected. The fog system was easy to install and seems to work pretty well. If it is very cold and/or humid outside, condensation may form on the visor, which can affect visibility. A small crack in the visor eliminates this issue when it does occur, and that has only happened to me when riding in freezing temperatures. I had a little rattle in the helmet when hitting a big bump in the road, but that's rare and doesn't bother me much. I was afraid that the dome on top of the helmet would create a lot of drag, but to be honest I experienced almost nothing. Stay clear, I didn't go faster than 35 mph, but I drove into 30 mph gusts with no problems. The built in vents are ok but I feel like they could let in more air with a better design. It's hard to form an opinion on ventilation until the hotter weather returns. Overall I think this is a really good helmet at the moment. I'm pretty sure it's a close replica of the Scorpion Exo-at950 which costs more than double that helmet ($270 vs $120 for that helmet). This helmet is only 2 ounces heavier and features a quick release chin strap. I originally looked at this scorpion helmet but refuse to pay that much for a helmet that insists on using old D-ring style straps. Overall I would definitely buy this helmet again. For the price it really couldn't be better.
