Review on EVEO Premium Monitor Desk Mount by Marquel Floyd

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great mounts, just make sure your desk is strong enough

Finally a 6 inch folding table becomes a real desk. I bought three of these monitor mounts to keep my two 27" AOC monitors and my new 32" Samsung monitor off my desk. These mounts worked fine with 27" monitors. The 32" monitor matches the weight of these arms so I had to twist the pivot on the arm hard and tighten the spring arm more to keep it in place, but a few months later it still holds it perfectly. I would recommend installing the included set screws in all connections. The connections are so smooth that if you hit the table the wrong way without them, your monitors may wobble. Just don't over-tighten them and you should still be able to move them with little effort. The main problem I have is how they attach to the table. It's a clamp but due to its shape it puts a lot of pressure on a very small area on both the top - as well as on the underside of the table. I dug straight into some 2x4s which I tested it on before putting it on the table. My solution was to go to a hardware store &... nd to buy a piece of steel 3 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick, cut it into sections 4 inches long, and fold it so that you have arm, steel, tablewood, steel. hand clip. . This spreads the pressure over a much larger area, making the mount stronger and not digging into your table. This solution for all three levers costs $20 if you have a way to clip it. The included cable management clips aren't very good either. They are plastic only and "snap" into place by just clamping on the plastic. Pull on them and they will come loose. Overall I am very happy with these monitor mounts considering the price. The quality of the parts, the adjustability, the gas springs, the set screws, you'll find it all in a gun that costs 3-4 times the price. would recommend.
