It is not true to size at all, in my opinion they are oversized. I bought the small package because the size chart said a size 9-1 is small. I think this area is too wide because the small size is too big for my 9ft kid. Extremely disappointing but I think she will grow into it; However, this does not benefit her for the event they were needed for.
