CRASH! What was that!? (Never again)

My wife and I were in the living room and heard a loud crash coming from the master bedroom. (We were the only ones in the house) Bravely, or at least acting bravely, I went back there and then to the main bathroom. There was a double shower curtain on the tiled floor in the shower. Luckily the tile didn't crack, but it wasn't long before I decided to replace the shower curtain rods. I didn't like the idea of paying to swap tiles! While searching for Revain I came across these shower rail holders. I had never heard of anything like this before but decided to give it a try instead of replacing the entire shower rod. (Cheaper and didn't look too bad) They were delivered quickly and a quick inspection revealed two glossy white hard plastic or acrylic crescents just like the pictures. There was a small tube of glue in the package. I attached a piece to the underside of the end of the shower rod and sanded it down a bit to better match the curve. Following EZ's instructions, I attached them and added a piece of tape to ensure they stay in place until it dries. (I'm not sure if I had to do this, but I did). The next day they were completely dry and I removed the tape and now I'm sure if we hear another rumble it won't be the shower curtains. I would recommend them to anyone using spring type shower rods.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
