First and foremost, these shoes are stylish and comfortable. They also have the added benefit of adding another 1.5 inches or more to your height. As a short guy, I like that extra boost. I also love the perforated leather on the upper. The shoes themselves are very well constructed (made in India), true to size and have the following important details which I have tried to highlight in my photos: 1. The white part of the sole is soft and supple. very soft2. The bottom sole is stronger and "more tenacious".3. The inside of the shoe has a mesh lining in addition to leather. This makes the shoe more breathable and ultimately more comfortable. A couple of additional points to note: 1. The shoes are a bit stiff but are shrinking. And when it's broken in, it looks even better.2. The insoles are not removable (glued in). Even though they are true to size, if you need to insert orthotics you should probably order a half size up or larger depending on the orthotics. All in all these are great shoes and I am very happy to have them. They look good with almost everything from jeans to shorts and chinos. Definitely five stars.
