My earring holes have a long and turbulent history, including one that migrated out of my ear! Needless to say, my ears are ridiculously sensitive. I was happy to find out years later that titanium is actually an inert material that won't irritate my ear piercings. I wear a pair of these earrings all the time to hold the holes and they are effective enough that I can revert to wearing a pair of gold earrings here and there from time to time during the day. I like the hexagonal shape. In fact, I would have loved to have had a pair that was even more bolt-like with a matching wrench necklace.
