I ordered size XXL which fits up to a 46 inch waist. The total length of the strap I received was 46 inches including the length needed to attach the buckle and the length of the strap. Angle cut for belt. By the time I mount the buckle, adjust the waist so the belt goes 2 inches through the buckle, and cut off the corner at the end of the belt, the belt is about 41.5 inches long. Either they sent me the wrong length belt or the sizing in the ad needs to be corrected. Most likely the item will be returned.
