First I bought an old 60 cm model that fits perfectly with my Mee P1 and Shanling M0. I clip the M0 to my jeans pocket and 60cm is just the perfect length - long enough to let my head move and short enough so the cable doesn't snag when I move. I use P1 in the down position. I hope I don't damage these as they are no longer made. I also have a new 40cm that I use between FiiO BTR3 and FH1 headphones and get Bluetooth from my Shanling M0. I clip the BTR3 to my shirt collar and this shorter cable is perfect as I wear the FH1 over my ear.
