Works well: Massage Balls

This myofascial massager is good for releasing trigger points in the back, neck and shoulders. It relieves back pain and muscle pain well. The best part is that you have complete control over the pressure and type of movement you want to apply to the trigger points. The massager is quite easy to install and use. This is an all plastic construction consisting of a two piece base plate, a wall mounting plate and 3 different pairs of ball casters. It's pretty sturdy, although it looks plastic for the price. Drill 2 holes in the wall for the mounting plate and fasten with 2 screws. The base plate snaps onto two hex rods on the wall plate. It can be adjusted vertically by detaching it from the wall plate and snapping it in at a different height. The bottom panel is logically divided into 4 different zones - lower back, upper back, neck and shoulders. Rollerball pens come in 3 different sizes and have an icon on them so you know which zone(s) they are for. You should insert one pair at a time into the base plate and then work on your trigger point one at a time, slowly moving your back vertically and horizontally in relation to the balls. It takes time to get the hang of it, and you'll feel relieved when you do. The only issue I have with this massager is the plastic. The two bars on the wall plate could be stronger. I don't know how well they will hold up, especially if you have to adjust the bottom plate height over time. Rollerballs also look cheap. Not sure if the bracket holding the ball will break due to fatigue. Overall, this is a pretty good trigger point reset tool. I like that I can do the task myself and have full control over its execution. The instrument itself is mostly solid. The price for the plastic construction is a bit high. In any case, it's worth a try. It does the job.
