Later These plates are a bit quirky in that the rim isn't even at the top - it has undulating movements where some parts are higher and others are naturally lower - If the If plates were only mounted upside down on a flat surface, they would wobble a little. So far it doesn't matter much. Once there was a mess - the other was distorted by the wave, but not so pronounced. The plate itself is great for serving pizza, as the slightly raised concentric circles help keep the steam from soaking the crust.
