This is a great case and for the price I felt I couldn't go wrong. I have a more expensive case, but I was looking for an additional case that would make it easier to use when rotating in different directions. At first glance the look suited me, it didn't look cheap and it seemed like it would protect. I've been using this case for a few months now and love it so far. This case has a dedicated space to safely store and charge your Apple Pencil. There is also an attached strap that keeps the case closed and only then does the auto shut off feature work. I find that the case offers adequate protection in the event of a fall. Unfortunately I have fallen 2 times with this case (my fault, I fell asleep and my iPad slipped and fell onto the wooden floor from about 3ft) after falling while my iPad was working properly. What I love and the only reason I decided to buy this iPad case is the ability to easily rotate the iPad and use it in both directions (landscape and portrait). The main disadvantage is that even if there is a ridged area, your iPad tends to slide off. This could easily be remedied if it were made out of a non-slip material instead of a Valor-like material. The only other downside, if you don't use tape to keep the case closed, your ipad will stay on until it expires or something. I put a piece of non-slip shelf material inside to make it slide more easily, but buying something and then having to fix it to use it always frustrates me. Since the suitcase wasn't very expensive, I decided to keep it for myself.
