I bought this stand because I needed a flat laptop stand with space underneath for a keyboard that could be perfectly parallel to the desk. Together with him I bought a VESA mount for a laptop. The stand is surprisingly stable in the vertical direction considering it doesn't have any locks or adjustable parts. When I press on my laptop the stand doesn't move anywhere and after a few days of use it doesn't sag at all. It's also small, meaning it's completely covered by the laptop, which is great. And with the right VESA tray (which mounts on the back, not the bottom), I have about 4 inches of space underneath for my external keyboard. The downside is that it wobbles from side to side. Gently on either side of the laptop (as it might be with normal typing) it tilts. This is usually fine as I have an external keyboard and the trackpad is in the center so it doesn't wobble. that it would be ideal as a stand for a small monitor. It's strong and flexible, with a decent height range of up to 2 inches and good angle adjustment.
