This towel *NEEDS* to be inundated with totally fake reviews.1. This towel is soft.2. The towel looks beautiful. BUT, and this is the most important point.3. The problems that people describe when the towel itself sheds an awful lot, literally sheds shreds of fabric, falls apart, etc. are absolutely correct. I bought these towels a week ago. I washed them once after receiving them. Cold wash, very gentle drying. The towels were shedding pieces of fabric and my washing machine was FULL of small pieces of black towels. Also same experience with more towels in my laundry trap. I then washed them in hot water a second time out of concern and found something similar. When I tried to use them, they sloshed all over me. I washed them in hot water a third time and prayed that I would finally fix it. After all this they still flaked off on me and for some reason I get this weird sticky film on parts of my body after using them to dry. I have tried washing them again in hot water with white vinegar but they are still shedding. Or as material for investments in the future. They are NOT worth the price, they are NOT good quality towels, they match the luxurious aesthetic and softness but do not meet the basic needs of towel making. ALL THESE QUESTIONS.
