Review on 📺 Enhanced TV Stand for Playseat®: Pro Edition by Denise Rivera

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Absolutely rubbish. Don't even think about buying it.

I don't even know where to start with this article. I have previously ordered a Play Seat Pro 3s TV stand assuming it is a complete set (the Playseat website did not explain the contents of the box at all). I didn't realize it was an addition to the subject I was considering until I received and opened it. Since I only bought it because of the price and it ended up costing me almost three hundred dollars more than I originally thought, I wouldn't buy it again. But just because I don't understand the description of an item doesn't guarantee such a review. An item that has fewer parts than the ADD-ON block also costs nearly $100 more. The build quality is terrible. Machining tolerances are absolutely unacceptable. There are countersunk screw holes that are so big that you can't tighten the screws enough to actually fit without a whopping four millimeters of play in the bearing joint. I don't want multiple TVs being held up by something this bad. Too bad I didn't return the item when I first received it instead of buying another to complete the set. In addition, the metal is quite durable. If it weren't so badly built it would still be a decent stand. And the monitor stand itself is complete crap. It's such a big pain to fit in and not stay. It has a very "universal fit". I was planning to buy a racing cockpit for gaming but after seeing how bad this thing is I think I'll stay away from the company. For only about a hundred dollars I could have gotten a MUCH better product. You get back what you pay for. I'm so frustrated right now because I can't figure everything out to get it back so I practically lost $500.

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Factor Set
