I purchased two 8 foot jump ropes for my daughters to play with their friends in the neighborhood. I specifically purchased two of them because I actually wanted a 16 foot jump rope and this was about $4 cheaper to buy them this way. All I did was easily remove one handle on each and tie them together. Just a little money saving tip for anyone looking for the same! These are decent quality. The plastic tubes are not as thick or as hefty as the ones we all used back in elementary school but they are not the cheapest quality either. I would certainly say if I thought they were horrible. We have had them for about a week now and they are holding up great so far. I just love that we have another outdoor toy that pretty much requires the children to play together haha
