As a simple under cabinet lighting solution, this is great value for money. I used to go down the low voltage transformer and puck light route, and the headache and expense isn't worth it in the LED strip era. After my family member installed the HUE light strip in their kitchen, I was looking for a similar but cheaper solution. Apart from a few small complaints I am very happy with it. BENEFITS: - The price is less than a third of the retail price of a 6.5ft HUE light bar (that's 10ft of LEDs). The lights are white only and aren't controlled by the Echo or the phone app, but I still don't want to control the kitchen lights that way. Flexible installation options are included to split lane for right angle turns. , close short gaps and attach with adhesive backing or fasteners. The motion-activated switch works well. much better than an airport bathroom faucet, you only need to move your hand about 3 inches. CONS: The only real downside I had was that making connections after cutting the LED strip was a bit tricky. Basically, it is a frictional connection on a plastic band, similar to playing pool with a rope. Actually it's not that bad but I had to cut an extra segment (just a few inches) off the LED strip after I failed an attempt to get a new set of pins and the connection was a bit pin-to- Pin code . until everything was glued. All in all I would very much like to buy it again.
