Two stars because they are cheap and not a rip off. I have purchased a number of Pearl Izumi products over the years and the products always seem to be of high quality and soft to the touch. Not this one. They are ready to use immediately and even after washing. There is no care label or country of origin so at first I thought it was a cheap fake. But today I saw them for sale at REI for $10 and I trust REI to sell legitimate products. If this was my first purchase from Pearl Izumi, it would be my last. If you decide to buy them I'm not that big but I ordered the big ones and they are too small.
