The weight of the handles is 2-4 pounds at best.

So far I've used 2 out of 50 bags I've bought. I was trying to see if it would hold up to 2 bottles (one Aquafina plastic bottle, one Starbucks cold brew glass bottle). It lasts, but not for long. The plastic around the buttons helps a little. I still use it but only for eating. I'll keep the bottles away. I sometimes use these paper bags to store my used N95 or KN95 masks until I can disinfect them with UV light at home.
