This is an excellent product. Because you can turn off the controller from the Xbox dashboard and it turns off automatically when you turn off the console, batteries and rechargeable batteries last a long time. This is especially noticeable when compared to some of the wireless controllers I've used with the PS2. It's also pretty cool that there's an alert system that notifies you when the battery is low. My husband and I played PlayStation quite a bit. people for the past 7 years so I figured it would be hard for me to get used to the new controls. I had no problems, it was very intuitive and very pleasant. However, I have to say that my left hand starts to hurt after a few hours of gaming as it hasn't quite adjusted to the new position compared to the PS2 controller. These controllers are a bit heavier than, say, PS2 controllers, but part of that has to do with the batteries.
