There are better solutions if you don't need a very small or lightweight one.
I'm giving 5 stars because it's the best device in its size class. It's amazingly strong and can actually hold up to 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs). However, if your solution doesn't need to be so small and light, a small tripod ball head is much better for you. They're cheaper and MUCH tougher than a magic hand. TLDR: Make sure you actually buy the most appropriate solution to a problem before overpaying for it.
