Small disclaimer: I rate products according to their functionality, processing quality and value. I think it is extremely important that costs are taken into account in the review. For those looking to take small to medium sized product shots at a very low cost, this is a great place to start. This product has both advantages and disadvantages. I have listed them below.PROS:1. It contains 6 color backgrounds that are easy to change.2. It has a dimmable skylight.3. The ceiling light can be set to different color temperatures (daylight, incandescent lamp or a combination). If you're not using supplemental lighting with this system, the two-tone temperature option doesn't matter because most cameras, including cell phones, allow you to adjust the camera's settings to add more warmth to the frame. The advantage of dual color temperature lamps is that they are easier to combine with other lights if you decide to add more lights. For example, if you used a tungsten light bulb (more like a yellow tent), you can adjust the light on this device to match the exact color of the light coming from the bulb. This is useful when trying to capture an image with the correct white balance. If you do not use additional lighting, I would recommend setting the light to mixed color so the device uses BOTH light bars. This will give you more light. Otherwise, if you use daylight white light, only daylight white LED strip will turn on. The second LED strip turns off, halving the amount of light you can get from this device. The same applies if you use tungsten lamps (warmer colors). This applies to ALL bi-color LED bulbs.4. It comes with a carry bag, easy to carry when needed.5. Assembly was fairly easy, although the instructions weren't very helpful.6. It has a hole in the top that makes it easy to remove the stots overhead. CONS: 1. The fabric used for backgrounds has a printed pattern, not a smooth surface. My cameras have a very high resolution, so the fabric print was clearly visible. I prefer smooth service.2. While the round design of the LED lights looks cool in the photos on the product page, this isn't the best light design. A square layout, where the LED strips would be stretched entirely across the top, would be more effective than a circular design that uses fewer lights and has gaps in the corners.3. To take really professional photos with it, you need additional lighting. The included LEDs illuminate the top, back and sides of the product quite well, however I highly recommend illuminating the front of the product otherwise you will find that the front is dimmer. than the rest of the product and have harder shadows. A small inexpensive LED flashlight would suffice. I took some product photos ONLY with the included bulbs. I did a little color grading on the photos, including adjusting the brightness and contrast, so I could see what the possible end results might look like. I was very pleased.
