I read 1 star reviews and people were upset. But I bought a pitcher anyway. And when I opened the package, lo and behold! it was "small". But then I looked at the water jug I was using (and planning to replace) and it was definitely 4 liters. And the pitcher I bought was definitely a 2 quart (yes, 64 ounces). My rating at the time would have been 4 stars (haven't actually used it yet but so far so good) but I've given it a 1 star rating to clear up the misinformation I've seen. I may purchase another of these jars to replace my 4 liter jug as the 2 liter jars are much easier to lift and handle.
