Recent edit: Having sent myself a new charger in record time I am pleased to report that this charger has powered my Alienware m17 laptop taken care of while I play. For the price and the response of the support team this charger really can't be beat when it works as expected. Excellent communication with seller - responded less than 6 hours after my initial reply and received a replacement in the mail the next day. When in doubt, I recommend giving this charger the benefit of the doubt. Edit: I contacted the seller and they said they would send me a replacement charger. I hope it supports my games! First run on this charger: I bought this as a second charger for my Alienware m17 laptop so I can take it with me on the go. I tested the charger for several weeks before relying solely on it and was initially impressed. The only thing I couldn't test is if it charges while playing, so I'll use it when traveling. When I started the game (Elder Scrolls Online) for the first time while driving, the charge indicator light went out immediately. I plugged it back in only to have the indicator light up for 5 minutes of charging before it failed. This charger doesn't seem to be able to support the power my computer needs to play the game.
