DEF is a mythical liquid that will kill any pump it touches (my experience). I manage a fleet of commercial vehicles and we use a lot of DEF and DEF pumps. Compared to the plunger style we were using before trying this one, it worked great. Large volume is easy to use and affordable. The intake manifold uses a thread that I was not able to adjust. When the pump broke, the suction pipe stopped working. I have to contact the manufacturer to buy a new suction pipe when most other devices have standard pipe threads that I can get anywhere. Took about 4 months.
