Reading the instructions was really annoying. We watched a few videos on YouTube and followed them. To be honest it's a lot easier to understand. We watched about 4 or 5 videos and none of them say to disconnect the battery (the instructions do). This is very important, otherwise the backlight fuse may blow. I feel like the instructions should say this in big bold red letters. Took us about 3-4 hours from start to finish. It took the first hour to turn off the screen. It was so badly broken that we had to peel it off into small pieces and that took forever. We then took our time taking it apart because we didn't want to mess anything up. time or less. Strange lines appear on the screen when it's off, but I don't notice it when it's on. It has now been replaced about 5 days ago and it works so great! Delay or sensitive reactions. I brought my iPhone to the store to have a broken screen replaced and it's so delicate it's driving me crazy. I paid a lot less for this iPad screen (which I obviously had to make myself), but this screen works much better than a repair shop replacement. I'll update if anything changes, but so far so good!
